01 / Context

A supermarket chain where decisions are made from data on sales, payments, outstanding balances, footfall and the status of trading areas.

02 / The problem

The data arrived from different sources and in different cuts. Management needed one interface showing the current picture, instead of a summary report put together by hand.

03 / Constraints

  • Large volumes of tabular data have to stay responsive.
  • Some figures update in real time.

04 / The solution

I built an interactive dashboard: tables with filtering and sorting, visualisation of the figures, data import and export, real-time logic and external integrations.

RESULT

  • The key figures for the chain are gathered in one interface.
  • Working with the tables and filters no longer requires exporting to Excel first.
